A Message from the Executive Producer Alan Rubens
This is our last newsletter before we sail on our inaugural Flower Power 2016 Cruise. We just put the finishing touches on our onboard programming schedule which includes over 65 musical performances and events that will bring this great era back to life for all of us. We will also get to know fantastic artists while they perform and interact with us on panels and around the ship.
Our celebrity cruise host, Micky Dolenz, will set the mood and the excitement for all of us. Some of the activities we have planned on board include phenomenal on-stage shows, some great “behind the scenes” road and touring stories during a panel discussion with the artists, and a presentation proving what made Woodstock the pivotal moment for the love generation. Our cruise starts with a sail away party with on deck dancing and singing to the music we all remember so well. Our days will be filled with afternoon and evening concerts, panels, trivia games, karaoke, a Beatles brunch, great food and a great ship - so get ready to experience a music festival at sea like you never have before!
We will have a Bell Bottom Ball and Psychedelic 60’s dance party so pack your hip hugger wide bell bottoms, tie dye t shirts, peace signs, Nehru jackets, fringe vests, headbands , peasant blouses and those love generation attitudes. We’re going to let our freak flag fly and remember how it was to be part of a generation that changed the way we felt, how we dressed and how we thought.
We are so glad you are joining us on this inaugural sailing of the Flower Power cruise. The StarVista LIVE crew, our celebrity cruise host Mickey Dolenz, all the fantastic artists and the staff of the Celebrity Constellation will make this cruise the vacation of a lifetime.
