You asked, we are here to deliver! We’re so excited to announce that fan favorites The Grass Roots will be joining us for our groovy 5th Anniversary celebration! With their folk-rock style and unique sound, this group is sure to make our favorite trip that much more special.
Selling over 20 million records and charting 21 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, The Grass Roots are recognized widely for their contributions to ‘60s music and culture. In 1967, the group had their first top 10 single with “Let’s Live for Today,” which helped to define the Summer of Love and kicked off their five-year run of hits. During this time, they recorded and released other smash hits like “Midnight Confessions”, “Sooner or Later”, “I’d Wait a Million Years” and “Two Divided by Love”. Since then, the band has continued to perform for and amaze audiences in sold out shows all over the United States.
The Grass Roots have graced the Flower Power stage twice before, including on our first sailing, and we couldn’t be happier that they have agreed to celebrate the sixties with us all over again in 2022! Our family reunion just wouldn’t be complete without them! They’ll be joining our already incredible lineup of superstars including The Hollies (special appearance 3/31), The Zombies, John Lodge of the Moody Blues, Felix Cavaliere’s Rascals, Procol Harum, The Guess Who, The Yardbirds, The Association, The Family Stone, Cruise Host Peter Asher, Canned Heat, The Cowsills, The Box Tops, Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels, and many more!
