Abbey Road on the River Celebrates the Music of The Beatles
For festival-goers, Abbey Road on the River is truly the weekend they mark their year by. That’s because each year when people from all over the U.S. and abroad come together to celebrate the music of one of the best bands of all time, they reunite with their “Beatles family” for 5 days of peace, love and rock-n-roll ensues.
Attendees will enjoy over 250 Beatles and 60’s themed concerts performed by 50 different bands from around the world, including the 2018 headlining bands... Grammy-winning rock group America and the fathers of psychedelic rock Vanilla Fudge!
Other festival highlights will include presentations by The Beatles’ primary recording sound engineer Geoff Emerick and the signature LOVE show, when a collection of 35 musicians will recreate note-for-note George Martin’s seminal album that is the soundtrack to the smash hit in Las Vegas - Cirque du Soleil's LOVE. The event will celebrate the 50th anniversaries of The White Album and Hey Jude with special concerts, films, and speakers.
Attendees can also enjoy a Beatles-merchandise marketplace, on-site food and beverages, retail and craft vendors, interactive art and a kid’s area.
Abbey Road on the River, the world's largest Beatles-inspired music festival, is now in its 17th year! In 2018, the festival will be held May 24-28 over Memorial Day Weekend, at the Big Four Station Park in Jeffersonville, IN (north bank of the Ohio River across from Louisville, Ky.)
