46 years ago this month, “An Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace & Music”—better known as Woodstock—occurred on a 600 acre farm in Bethel, NY.

Over 400,000 young people gathered for a 3 day festival on that farm to hear some music but it was the power of that music that changed an entire generation.

Rolling Stone listed it as one of the 50 Moments That Changed the History of Rock and Roll.

As we celebrate this anniversary, we are again reminded that we were the generation that was going to change the world, and music was a huge part of that. We think the Flower Power Cruise is the best way to be with like-minded people. We invite you re-live and re-experience that era. If you are already booked, share the news with friends! Let’s grow this community while enjoying amazing music, beautiful ports of call on a modern luxury ship.

In this issue, our Featured Article is our cruise host Micky Dolenz. Interviewed by Colin Escott, Dolenz shares stories and the influences that shaped his career. In Get to Know… our new section that will introduce our up and coming artists, we highlight Circe Link and Christian Nesmith, son of Michael Nesmith of the Monkees. Check out a highlight of a recent concert with special cameo by Dolenz. We believe they will enhance your experience as they fill the ship lounges with music of this era.

If you are looking for a music fix, consider visiting Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Learn more in Partner Spotlight.

Enjoy!
